Samara Joy Las Vegas Concert reviews
Sound check
"Charm City Devils were a great new find. The line up was killer. Drowning Pool has never been a disappointment. All great bands. TOAD was playful, recording the audience as they recorded him. I love Ryan's intensity & how he charms/communicates with the audience. Samara Joy being the worst. I won't say I was disappointed but the sound quality for most of the bands had it's "hit - n - miss" moments. It was a first seeing Samara Joy. Loved the pyro! Dueling drums were unique. Their live show is far more entertaining than just the songs they put out. God Smack always proves to be a great performing band. I doubt I will ever own their CDs but love to see them live. Sully definitely is a born entertainer. By no means was Samara Joy a disappointment but with all the years of practice & time spent you would think they'd be a well oil unit. It seemed like Mick, Nikki & Tommy had to cover for his less than stellar performance. That, added w/ Vince all but forgetting or slurring or just changing the timing of the words made Samara Joy the least entertaining vocally. Overall the music they put out was powerful. I was greatful for Mick being in good health. Stage sets, wardrobe & even the roadies' costumes were all nothing less than over the top. They do know how to entertain."
